Proposal: Should an owner overextend a bid past the teams budget or roster capabilities they will be forced to sign the player at the won bidding price. They must make alterations to the team by trading or cutting players to make the cap or roster room. The recently signed player cannot be traded or dropped until after week 1, unless the conditions to end a contract (death, retirement, ect.) have been met.
RULE CURRENTLY READS If an owner wins a player, he cannot afford that the owner with the next highest bid would have the option to take that player. If that owner does not want him, the bidding for that player would start over.

The very nature of this proposal goes against the reason we halted the auction in the first place, in that we don’t want people cutting rostered players during the auction period.
